it was a hilarious endeavor.

we found this amazing monument dedicated to a poet from somewhere between the 1300s and the 1800s (i cant remember...someone can kindly remind me), in the middle of some back road that we took accidentally while looking for the castle below. so of course we had to explore it from all angles as you do with these things.
I have been told by some british friends that its illegal to chase sheep. but in this pasture in the highlands of scotland, with no one around, we tried anyways. funny little creatures. the castle in the back was the one we had hoped belonged to william wallace. in the end it didn't, but we deemed it the best castle we have run across yet. no tourism, no people bossing you around or telling you where to go and not go. i climbed along the top torrets and scrambled along the edges to the exclamations of A, Taylor, AJ, and Dave. good fun.

AJ you are too white. You were better off just not attempting to jump.
Cute sheep. Unfortunately, it makes me hungry for some Lamb Shwarma from Fatoush.
i'm digging the loch ness through the tree shot. . . the color seems funky though, did you tone it weird?
